haha, dont knw why, but suddenly had the inspiration to learn cooking...

and so i went online looking for recipes

"spoiled" Birthday surprise

so it was on the 22nd sept, that we tried to surprise our dear fren, she mei by giving her a surprise birthday celebration at her house which she didnt know about!
we planned to meet at her house at 12.30pm sharp, and ring the bell and go in together.
all went "very" well, until..............that serene basically 'spoil' the plan.
she went to her house earlier, and she mei spotted her. then she mei called her phone and said
i saw you already la, come in la.. and tthere goes our spoil surprise.
** dont blame her la, want to blame then blame She Mei's eyes too big la! =) haha
so when we arrived, we were expecting her to wear like "at home" clothes but we ourselves were surprised to see her all dressed up..
and there goes serene tumbling out of she mei's room... LOLZ!

haha=) surprise to see two cakes for one celebration hhuh? yea, we had two cakes and so we ate till our stomachs so stuffed with cakes!! **she mei greedy, huh??=)

then we had a sudden inspiration to go to the park..

after tht, we did the most unbelievable thing. as if we were going through second childhood once again, we played ICE AND WATER!! haha=)

CAMP!

i have always wish to post about camp for a long time already. and finally... i can find the time.

DAY 1

the night before maggie stayed at my house and we were wrapping all the hampers of goodies as prizes for the campers and also finish up all the campbooklets and dokumens which needed to be attended. the next day we woke up around 6am and went to school.

then we had a marothon to the petrol station and seven eleven to but ice..

then after all the collection of fees, forms, and taking attendance. then, off we go.... and Jeram Besu, here we come!

when we reach there we unpack pitch our tents.. the campers were supposed to come up with their own group names, slogans and a cheer
while they were doing all that, we, the AJK were busy preparing the ice breaker with some of the campers looking curiously.

day 1 was the hectic day for the AJK as we needed to plan every single thing. the actiities were only scheduled to be day 2 & 3.

so after hearing the group names, slogan which was the BLUE CELCOM, PURPLE PANTHERS, and YELLOW BANANA, we explained the ice breaker to them.

they were supposed to blindfold one person from their group, go through a maze which we have prepared, by following instructions frm their group members. and on the way, they were supposed to pick up some stuff which are well hidden. and they have to bind up the bits and pieces which will assemble sme of our AJK's photo. and were suppse to find us, who by that time would have hide smewhere.

we just explained and went off to prepare the next game - obstacle course. while they continue playing under the watch of the other four AJK. Phew!! it was tiring running frm one to another.

little did we knw that, they took really VERY FAST to finish the game, and we were just beggining to prepare! and so we panic, ahh, not enough time.

but ya, we made it up. last minute, i just thought up some mini games to keep them occupied, while the other AJK continue preparing.

good thing i had petrina and pei ci with me. and so we played catterpillar, captain ball, human tangle, and many others.

then when we were fnally ready, we started the obstacle course (amazing race). there were many stations and i do hope that you all had fun. Sorry if it was very boring, it's all my fault or maybe i didnt plan well enough but ya, hope ur enjoy urself

after tat, was time to bathe off all the smell. haha **we stinko!

and we started to prepare for BBQ! which would be our dinner,

so if it is burnt doesnt taste nice we still have to gulp it down.

turns out..... it was quite delicious...and did ur ask : eh, i didnt knw i can cook that well, huh?? haha

then after that when it was dark enough, we started playing ghost in the graveyard. curious...what is that?? ask the campers

then we played some mini games like murderer, mulriple, and S-P-U-D. then went to bed! zzz...zzz...zzz

but the AJK were still awake when the campers were sleeping. staying up and planning for the next day. it was quite late when we slept,

DAY 2

and we woke up before all the campers to wake them up.. haha, so being AJK is not as fun as the campers, have to sleep later and wake up earlier than the campers. it was morning exercise time and roll call.

those who were late, we punished them by asking them to do a "fun" indian run. we then had breakfast.

today to me and to most campers is the "most fun" day!

after breakfast we went to caving exploration. we learned many thing from there! seriously.

we saw staglatite, staglamite, crystal, the olden days writing, climb up a high cliff like thing, crawl under a cave hole, and try to walk in the dark and many more,

it was a real experience for me!

and after that we went for our FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. this can be considered as the climax!!it was... i tell u.... REALLY REALLY FUN!! undescribable! haha, dun worry, i'm not exagerating.

and we spent a great deal of enjoyment at the waterfall! the water was freezing cold but ya, it was fun!when we reached our campsite, it was group meeting time, for the group to prepare for their sketches during campfire. had dinner and started our next game - building the tripod and keeping all the candles lighted while the water guns pumps water! a real test of teamwork=)



after which.... CAMPFIRE STARTS.

we had the three sketches frm the group.
then the AJK sketch- IMMITATORS.
this was the MOST spontaneous sketch i ever did.
it was juzt before the campfire that we plan and practise everything.
and it was really funny, we immitated as the dogs cats, sheep, oramg utan, horse rooster and all the animals found there. and we immitated our beloved teacher who is very fuuny too.
phrases like : dont play play with my life! i rabun dekat rabun jauh dont switch off the light, must walk like a model wear high heels and stuffs.
haha
and we went on to sing songs. haha, i bet u all will never forget the "char kuey teow" song.. hehe..

after tat we asked everyone to sleep at arnd 10pm which was quite early. ** little did they knw tat there were plans ahead.
the AJK let them sleep for arnd two hours and the drama started.
we came to the camp site and started shouting

WAKE UP! WAKE UP! there's a big SCORPIAN!! faster faster. come out of your tents. dangerous, move faster please...
haha, when doing all this i was trying not to laugh
as it ws all a prank..

we just simply want to wake the campers up in the middle of the night to carry out OPERASI BURUNG HANTU.

haha, n guess what, they really believe.
they got up in such a daze, you should have seen their faces.ahaha.
after sme activities, then only we allowed them to go back to sleep but only around two hours left.

that night, we , the AJK didnt really sleep at all.

Day 3
the next day we were dead tired!
and still we went for jungle trekking
which consisted of three parts
a) track to rafflesia
b) obstacle track
c) river crossing
despite being really tired we still made it to the end.



well, that about it!

during camp, that was the first time i dont feel like eating. no apetite, and that's surprising as i love food a lot. maybe just too tired to eat. haha.

BLUR case

i'm quite famous with the word BLUR in church in skul n basically whereva i am!
when comes to general knowledge HAH, i'm at a lost! SERIOUSLY. you will knw why after reading this.

out of no where, my classmates suddenly thought of testing me on my "long-forgotten geography" they started bombarding me with many questions.

i dont know how it started but i somehow made a statement that SELANGOR IS IN SUBANG.
and they started laughing. well, honestly speaking, from when i was small ..... until now, note what i say... until now... i always cant differentiate what is a city, country, continent, state, capital n you know the rest.that's why when i fill up forms, i'll alwaz ask my mum to help...hahaha

then they started asking me
Garry : where is France,
me : in Italy

Believe it a not, i know there was an incident of 911 which was something to do with plane crash, but...
Kai Shek : where did it happen?
me : ...erm...ar.... in....Hiro....ohh..no..no i dont know. i wanted to say HIROSHIMA!!
in my mind i was confused with the "bombing" thing that happen there.

well,well,well so now you know how blur i am and to what extent..there were lots more question like what's the capital of thailand, where's rome n i was in an utter confusion and so they gave up asking me. haha.

hmmm, actually there is many other stories about my blurness. but ya, i'll just stop here.

i knw many of u have been urging me to post..but i really couldnt find time.

my blog is really dead i knw. but ya, i'm FINALLY back. dun worry, i didnt vanished into thin air n is still in "one piece" haha.=)

i jz wanna say " Praise The Lord" i went check up yesterday, it's all finally cleared.

doctor said my bone was fusing well

compared to the previous checkup this was the best...

after tat operation...

throughout tis whole year... i act felt like i have a totally new back!

it's really hard n stiff (my back) n i cant lie back on most chairs..cant seat for long too.

well, tis year have been really tough!

so many things happen n it really changed me, i owe tis explanation to all of u, especially to all my church fren who cares so much for me.

in church until July (*i knw i have cheer up now*) :

emo, anti-social, easily irritated, not wanting to talk, want to b alone, not caring as i once was, eyes teary. n keep on crying n many others.

my dear sis n bro,

i knw tat u all who close to me have noticed tat big change of me who was once a cheerful, laughing, caring commited dedicated n sensitive elena... yes, i have changed a great deal.

and here i want to say SORRY really for all tat i have said done or felt which in any way have hurt u or smehow made u really tired of dealing w me..

i admit tat it was all my wrong

during tat period.

i really felt very tired EXHAUSTED, tired of alwaz caring for ppl n usually asked: y must i alwaz be the one caring for ppl, then who cares for me??? i'm felt even tired talking n interacting w ppl..i knw i made myself very hard to approach n talk to n i aplogize.

and now i shall explain y after i sorted out all tis w GOD.

i was really down tat tme.. n y tis change of behaviour?

tat's bcz I WAS VERY VERY FAR AWAY FRM GOD n it's due to my business planning for a camp in skul.

i didnt do my quiet time for very lng n felt as if i have lost the channel of love frm GOD which use to overflow to the ppl around me.

it was wen i realise tis problem i started to work on it..

i spoke to an older person n he asked me to find the source of where i went off

i prayed to God to revealed to me as i really did not knw wat is it

n the next day i did my quiet time after a very long time

n it said : YOU HAVE FORSAKEN YOUR FIRST LOVE n i dun knw y throughout the whole day tat was the verse tat keep ringing in my head!

tat was the first message i received frm God

but i fall back again n God show me sme things through circumstances

i fell down the DAY BEFORE my piano exam n to my surprise : i sprained my ankle *didnt knw it was tat serious wen i went back n my parents saw me, they keep telling me is smething spiritual as so many things happen in a short period as i was sick too tat tme, n the piano exam is very important. i knw tat they too notice the change in me n wen they said tat,

my tears literally fell n i kept on crying n couldnt stop..

it was smething planned by God to tell me smething!

he purposely made me fall down it's not coincidental, n jz the day before my exam,

lesson is : there was no one else i could depend on but HIM alone at tat tme i was so worried bout the exam as i needed to walk n step the pedal, n i was still limping then n it was painful too.

but i commited everything into His hands n told Him tat i will depend on HIM, n it was amazing!

the day of exam came

i went in n wen i was playing there was no pain at all, but once i came out of the room n started walking, i start to fell the pain.. it's a miracle!

God took away my pain for tat half an hour

oh, THANK GOD REALLY for tat.. n it finally taught me tat i have been struggling on my own for too long... n i must depend on HIM

**my whole world is really in a mess without HIM! i love you, LORD. n thank you

for being faithful wen i was faithless

n still draw me back wen i hurt your heart so much

You are great Lord, pls help me to stay close to u!

now in school,

yes i am a totally different person.

i am crazy, talk crab, laughing, cheerful n everything

it's jz a way to hide all my worries n not show it.

tis was not the usual me too, i was nt like tat last year n i wanna apologize too if i annoyed any of u w my attitude n being so noisy even wen teacher is teaching. i'm sorry, frens!

n i'm sorry teachers tat i went out of class almost every single period

n tat's bcz of all the load of kertas kerja i needed to handle which i had to learnt everything by myself! i'm really sorry, i didnt want to do tat but i had no choice.

camp was really a struggle

i basically HANDLED everything by myself ALONE frm the kertas kerja's to the plannings of the camp

phew! now wen i think back i wonder how i manage it!!! i myself am amazed at my ability

i really didnt knw jz a camp can make me work so hard put every single effort n sweat on it

i dun knw how many times i repeated doing the kertas kerja to achieved the standard tat Pn Chew required! wow! i really cant count. n it doesnt stop there still have to do kertas kerja for jabatan n was tendang balik oso, i didnt give up n did again! it was really tough! it was so much effort i put in, i even cried so much at one point i culdnt take the pressure wen exams were coming n they keep tendang balik the kertas kerja, the bookings pricing which i kept bargaining to n forth until i was scolded by the manager n i was alone..i really dun knw hw i handled it,

i tell u i really cant explain in words how overjoyed i felt wen i received the approval letter frm jabatan. i literally felt as if i was jumping into the skies.

i was....... REALLY HAPPY! i felt like running one whole big round around the skul but i control myself..*grins...

n all the plannings started.

games activities programmes things to bring to buy, n many others..

and here, i really want to take the opportunity to thank SHE MEI, MAGGIE, N CHIEW TENG N THE 4 FORM SIX GURLS. without u all i really dun knw how i survived it all!it was with ur support my dear frens! n everything u did is really appreciated n mean a lot to me! all the hard work we did was paid off during the camp.

going to a camp with only four AJK out of fourteen sounds quite impossible, huh??

but yes, we did it!!!
